USA, electronic vote in West Virginia thanks to the Blockchain

Next November the citizens of West Virginia abroad will be able to vote for the midterm election by a smartphone. Donie O’Sullivan on CNN Tech officializes the introduction of electronic voting thanks to an app based on the Blockchain technology.
Voters will have to register and upload to the application a photo of their ID and a selfie-style video of their own face. The double facial recognition will guarantee the regularity of the operation. The data will be shared on the ledger.
In the tests carried out to test the functioning of the mechanism, no problems have ever been encountered.
