UK, more powers to the FCA
In UK the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is working to regulate the cryptocurrency industry. Huw Jones and Tom Wilson (Reuters) explain that companies will need to have a license by the FCA to continue their activities. Christopher Woolard, FCA executive director of strategy and competition, explains the method: “It’s about running a twin track, getting the right answer for the UK, but moving in concert with international colleagues.”
