The Blockchain to give an identity to refugees and the persecuted people

Worldwide refugees and stateless people may soon use the Blockchain to claim their identity. As explained by the Guardian, Muhammad Noor – exponent of to the Rohingya group – wants to record birth certificates, documents and titles in the virtual and decentralized database. The technology would avoid the loss, destruction, falsification and misuse of this material.
In addition, the Blockchain is already used by humanitarian organizations for money transfers for the benefit of refugees. So the Blockchain allows the persecuted populations to escape the oppressions of dictatorial regimes.
