Ana Berman on Cointelegraph reports that Fernando Haddad, candidate for the Brazil Workers’ Party, has published his government plan through the blockchain to avoid fake news.
Haddad is not the only presidential candidate to apply this technology. During the election campaign, other candidates also mentioned blockchain.
Marina Silva, another candidate, proposed to create a “digital government”, storing all public data on a decentralized platform. She used the DLT technology to record donations for her campaign.
