The Blockchain for a new financial model
In an article by Chijioke Nelson on The Guardian, the Blockchain is described as a “tsunami-like phenomenon” that would soon sweep across the world, for good, distrupting the traditional financial system- banking, finance, insurance, real estate, medical records, law, among others.
The Blockchain first of all allows to overcome the initial difficulties for investors due to speculation and onerous and unsure transactions.
Most global banks (in the United States, Australia and Europe) are using the Blockchain to get stronger data security thanks to peer-to-peer information systems.
The main obstacle is the lack of knowledge of this technology, often usable only by IT experts. However, a simplification of the whole system is in progress.
