Bernardo Vizcaino, on Reuters, announces that in Islamic countries such as Turkey and Malaysia a new digital echange is emerging to attract startups owned by sharia-minded entrepreneurs. About 20 fintech companies have been identified for this goal.
The project’s creators have applied for a digital exchange license in Malta and in the coming weeks they will make a partnership with important European stakeholders.
Several companies have developed sharia compliant products looking for new clients and including growth markets in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
