Qatar, blockchain in banking

Commercial Bank became the first one in Qatar to use the blockchain thanks to the collaboration with R3, an American blockchain-based software company.
Robin Marshall, Chief IT Officer at Commercial Bank, said that the bank has taken this step as it is already very well aware of the potential and importance of blockchain to the bank in order to make banking and business transactions between banks smooth and secure.
