Billy Bambrough on Forbes explains that fintech startups have revolutionized the financial services industry, captured around one-third of new revenue.
In the United Kingdom, thanks to government policy, 63 percent of the fintech companies took around 14 percent of total bank and payment revenues.
The UK government has also created the so-called fintech bridge between UK and Australia to help companies expand internationally.
The increase in fintech firms and banking startups was triggered by the 2008 global financial crisis, which forced banks to reduce expenses and withdraw from some markets.
