Cryptocurrency, Malta is a “proactive” country

The European Securities and Markets Authority, an independent EU authority, has included Malta among the seven leading nations in the cryptocurrency field.
Vanessa Macdonald reports on the Times of Malta that ESMA has underlined the Maltese “evident proactive approach” in regard to ICOs and digital currencies. Other countries are Switzerland, Lithuania, Gibraltar, Jersey, Isle of Man and France.
The Authority has covered 36 countries on the basis of local legislative system to avoid risks for investors.
