China is the world leader in blockchain

China is the main global player with regard to the number of blockchain-based projects: according to China.org.cn, citing a report by Blockdata, they are 263 (25% of the world total). These data confirm a trend started in 2017 and certified by the World Intellectual Property Organization and Thomson Reuters. Brady Dale (CoinDesk) explains that last week the “Implementation Plan for the Promotion of Transportation Infrastructure Development” provides for the application of blockchain in overhauling local transport infrastructure in Jiangsu Province.
