Canada, the Blockchain for the cannabis legal market

A BBC service outlines the Cannabis Act, the law uses Bitcoin and Blockchain to track legal market of cannabis in Canada. The system traces the whole chain (from seed to sale) and guarantees the anonymity of the customers. The norm will come into force next October 17th.
Companies authorized to operate in the cannabis sector will have to submit a monthly report information such as quantities of marijuana grown, harvested, sold, destroyed, used for research purposes or lost for stealing.
