Princess Eugenie, granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth, and US Ambassador John Richmond have called for blockchain to disrupt the modern-day slave trade. Kieran Guilbert (Reuters) reports the opinion of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), according to which the growing use of the internet involves a higher number of potential victims. “Technology can and should be our vanguard in combating trafficking,” said Eugenie, who in 2017 founded the Anti-Slavery Collective.
