Blockchain, advantages in legal field

The Guardian explains that the blockchain can be applied to the legal profession and regulatory environment. On the newspaper the website Primavera Filippi, a researcher at the National Center of Scientific Research in Paris and faculty associate at Harvard University, says that “blockchain technology can affect the legal practice in two significant ways”: acting as a secure database where documents and evidence can be stored then referenced later and creating digital contracts (smart contracts) avoiding intermediaries and reducing costs.
