A World Economic Forum report about Central Bank Digital Currency
The World Economic Forum has published a report on Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), revealing that 40 central banks around the world are involved in the development of fintech services and tools. These include the Bank of Canada, the Bank of England and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), as producing the most research to date. According to the WEF report, emerging country central banks may be the biggest beneficiaries of CBDCs.
