Canadian pilot project to pay property tax in crypto

In Innisfil, a city in Ontario (Canada), it will be possible to pay property tax in cryptocurrency starting next month. Initially, citizens will be able to use bitcoin only, but shortly after they will use several digital currencies. Philip Maina (Cryptoline News) explains this is a pilot project where a payment processor will be handling crypto and delivering fiat to Innisfil’s tax authorities.
