Cryptocurrency, bitcoin’s “dominance” in the entire market

A John-Paul Thorbjornsen’s report found that the dominance of bitcoin in the cryptocurrency market is of over 80%. The analyst presented and argued this data in a post on Medium. Francisco Memoria (Crypto Globe) explains that “dominance” does not simply correspond to the percentage of the total cryptocurrency ecosystem (which is in any case above 50%), as it includes factors other than market capitalization.
