A cryptocurrency for the Eurasian Economic Union

Helen Partz on Cointelegraph writes that the Russia’s Ministry of Finance would be thinking of an Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)-backed digital currency against the United States’ sanctions. The currency would be introduced in 2020 or 2021 and could be adopted by Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.
