“A 10 percent of global GDP will be blockchain-based by 2027”

In less than ten years a 10 percent of global GDP will be the result of blockchain-based services. This forecast is contained in Casaleggio Associati report “Blockchain for business” presented in Milan in an event entitled “How the blockchain will revolutionize the business model”. Event partners were Poste Italiane and Consulcesi Tech, hi-tech company specializing in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. «The new word of the moment is blockchain» Davide Casaleggio writes in the introduction of the document, and adds that now «the possibility has been created to build a new context to disrupt large firms positioning and to encourage new business models».
Only 3 percent of firms now has a large-scale blockchain project in Europe, a 10 percent has activated a pilot and a 87 percent drafted only a plan.
