New jobs thanks to the constantly growing fintech industry

Heidi Scrimgeour on the Guardian foresees the final success for fintech industry, especially in the United Kingdom. In the first six months of 2018, global fintech investment reached a record high of $57 billion, and the UK attracted more of that investment ($16 billion) than the US or the rest of Europe combined. “Fintech is at the very start of an amazing 20-year cycle,” says Nick Cowan, CEO of the Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange.
There are many different career paths open and many sub-sectors to work in (insurance, investment to wealth management and regulation) to those interested in working in fintech. Many fintech companies have already become small and medium-sized businesses and therefore are looking for different profiles: operations managers, customer service and sales staff.
