UK European leader of FinTech, Bank of England get the Blockchain

Reuters, in an article by Huw Jones, says the Bank of England by 2020 could introduce a new payment system compatible with Blockchain to attract FinTech companies. The BoE would use DLT (distributed ledger technology), a strong tool against cyber attacks.
This decision confirms the aim of London to propose itself as a leader not just in Europe of cryptocurrencies and, in general, of FinTech. Several European capitals are not westing time and they are waiting for the Brexit, they try to steal companies from Great Britain.
